Are your periods irregular, painful, or accompanied by mood swings, fatigue, or other symptoms? Hormonal imbalances can impact your energy, mood, sleep, skin, gut health, motivation, libido and fertility but you don’t have to put up with it.
I combine acupuncture and naturopathy to support your hormones in a personalised, holistic way.
Acupuncture offers gentle, targeted treatments that help regulate hormone function by improving circulation, reducing stress, and supporting your body’s natural balance, which can ease symptoms such as PMS, painful or irregular cycles, fatigue, and mood changes.
Naturopathy, on the other hand, focuses on addressing the root causes of hormonal imbalance. Hormones are influenced by factors such as gut health, diet, stress, and environmental or lifestyle factors. Through tailored nutrition guidance, lifestyle strategies, and carefully selected supplements or herbal remedies, naturopathy supports digestion, optimises nutrient absorption, reduces toxin exposure, and strengthens your body from the inside out.
You can choose to focus on either approach or combine both, creating a flexible, personalised plan that addresses symptoms, supports your whole body, and promotes long-term hormonal balance.
Step 1. Initial Comprehensive Consultation
This is a thorough first session where we’ll:
- Go through your health and fertility history
- Review cycles, symptoms, and test results
- Look at digestion, thyroid, stress, immunity, and energy
- Create a personalised naturopathic plan
- Begin with your first acupuncture treatment
You’ll leave with:
- A plan to support your health goals
- A referral for testing if extra investigation is needed.
- A tailored supplement plan
- Diet and lifestyle recommendations
Step 2. Follow up Consultations
Follow up sessions are scheduled as needed depending on your individual situation or goals, usually every 3-6 weeks. These sessions are to check your progress, review your prescription and work through your treatment plan.
