Fertility Support with Acupuncture & Naturopathy

Compassionate, evidence-informed care for your fertility journey

Whether you’ve been trying for a while, are just starting to think about it, or simply want to get your body ready, navigating fertility can feel overwhelming at times. There can be a lot of questions, ups and downs, and pressure to “do everything right.”

You might feel like your body isn’t quite doing what it should, or you’re tired of tracking cycles and waiting for answers. Or maybe you just want a more supportive, holistic approach, one that sees the whole you, not just your hormones or reproductive organs.

That's were I can help. I combine acupuncture and naturopathy to offer a gentle, integrative approach. Together they help restore balance, support menstrual health, and give your body the best chance to thrive.

Where to begin

Step 1. Initial Fertility Consultation - In person or via Telehealth

This is a thorough first session where we’ll:

 - Go through your health and fertility history

 - Review cycles, symptoms, and test results

 - Look at digestion, thyroid, stress, immunity, and energy

 - Create a personalised naturopathic plan

 - Begin with your first acupuncture treatment

You’ll leave with:

 - An acupuncture schedule to support your natural or IVF cycle

 - Referrals if extra testing or support is needed.

 - A tailored supplement plan

 - Diet and lifestyle recommendations

Step 2. Weekly Acupuncture

Each week of your cycle has its own changes and needs, and regular sessions mean we can support your body at every stage:

Before Ovulation (Follicular phase) acupuncture helps encourage healthy follicle development, improves blood flow to the ovaries and uterus, and supports your body in preparing for ovulation.

At Ovulation treatments can help promote optimal hormone balance and encourage smooth release of the egg.

After Ovulation (Luteal phase) acupuncture supports implantation by improving circulation to the uterine lining and calming the nervous system so your body is in the best state to receive a pregnancy.

Regular sessions also regulate stress hormones like cortisol, balance the nervous system, and support better sleep, all of which can positively influence fertility.

For IVF or assisted cycles, weekly acupuncture also allows us to align treatments with your stimulation, egg collection, transfer, and the two-week wait, giving you tailored support at each step.

How Acupuncture & Naturopathy Can Help

Fertility is about so much more than ovulation. Your nutrition, thyroid health, stress response, digestion, sleep, and overall energy all play a role in how your body cycles and functions each month.

Naturopathy

With evidence-based nutrition, herbs, and lifestyle guidance, naturopathy can support:

 - Hormone balance (oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone, insulin)

 - Ovulation and egg quality

 - PMS, PCOS, thyroid conditions

 - Gut health and detoxification

 - Energy, mood, and resilience

Jess will be looking for signs and symptoms of nutrient deficiencies. She will look in depth at your blood test results, aiming to get your levels to the best they can be as quickly as possible using dietary advice and/or supplementation. She may also use herbal formulas to regulate hormones, reduce stress levels or address any other underlying health concerns impacting fertility. Every prescription is individually formulated as no two people are the same.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is based on the concept of energy flow, known as Qi, which moves through the body along specific pathways. When this flow is disrupted, it can affect your health and wellbeing. Acupuncture works to restore balance by gently stimulating specific points on the body with tiny, hair-thin needles.

Fertility Acupuncture can support:

 - Blood flow to the uterus and ovaries

 - Help regulate cycles

 - Support follicle growth and endometrial lining

 - Reduce stress and cortisol

 - Support implantation

Jess will select specific acupuncture points based on your presentation, health history and cycle day. Once the needles are inserted, you’ll relax comfortably for 20 to 30 minutes, often feeling a deep sense of calm.

Does Jess see LGBTIQA+ couples undergoing medical fertility treatments?
