Offcanvas Section

You can publish whatever you want in the Offcanvas Section. It can be any module or particle.

By default, the available module positions are offcanvas-a and offcanvas-b but you can add as many module positions as you want from the Layout Manager.

You can also add the hidden-phone module class suffix to your modules so they do not appear in the Offcanvas Section when the site is loaded on a mobile device.

"From the minute I walked in with literally a list of things I wanted to fix, Jess was so knowledgeable, and I felt my health was in great hands. She knew exactly why things were happening and what it would take to fix them. Over the past almost 12 months we have worked through my issues, and it wasn’t long before she had totally fixed them. I live so much happier now just because of that."

Jessica Trethowan

Welcome! I’m Jess, an online Women's Health Naturopath based in Melbourne, Australia.

I teach women how to understand their body, how to recognise symptoms as the body's way of communicating what it needs. I have a holistic approach that involves collecting information about the whole body to treat the underlying cause of concern and resolve symptoms forever.

I particularly love showing women how to take back control of crazy hormonal symptoms and how to achieve a period that comes and goes without any issues - because it is possible!!

I have a very realistic, down to earth, non-judgmental way of working, that allows my patients to come as they are, wherever they are in their health journey. I want women to feel supported in achieving their goals in a timeframe that works for them.

My favourite part about working with women is seeing the flow on effect that feeling better can have on their lives and the lives of those around them.

Too many of us are putting up with symptoms and pushing through thinking they are normal. Not feeling like yourself anymore is a good enough reason to investigate further. You deserve to feel supported, nourished and well rested.

Common reasons women seek out my help:

  • Heavy/Painful/Missing Periods
  • PCOS, Endometriosis, PMS, PMDD
  • Adverse reactions to hormonal contraceptives (the pill, Implanon, merina)
  • Anxiety, Depression, Panic Attacks, Insomnia, Fatigue
  • Fertility & Post Natal Support

Where to Start

"It was such a relief to tell my story to Jess who spent time really listening to me! She showed such compassion and empathy that I hadn’t experienced in a long time (in both the medical and complimentary medicine fields). She answered all my questions and concerns about testing and treatment, in a way I could understand. Within a month of starting treatment, I started to notice a significant difference in energy and mood. Six months in and my monthly cycles are SO much better, mood is much more stable, exercise and stress tolerance has increased a lot, sleep has improved and just overall my head and thinking is a lot clearer."

“My mission is to empower women to aim high when it comes to health, to not put up with symptoms that are supposedly "normal." I want to teach women how to intuitively understand what their body needs, to nourish themselves physically and emotionally and experience the ripple effect that takes place when women are operating at their full potential."

“Stress in my relationship lead to separation, which led to me leaving a secure job and working 5 different jobs. The stress I had been under for 10 years had been taking a toll. I had a chance meeting with Jess, and it was a huge life changing experience. I feel less stressed, calmer, clearer thinking and I feel much more balanced emotionally, physically and spiritually. I will never be able to explain to her how much she has helped me. I only wish I had found her sooner”

"I went to see Jess when my husband and I decided we wanted to start trying for a baby. Jess was able to help me straight away. Once I got pregnant Jessica was a huge support during my pregnancy. I have been in close contact with her throughout the pregnancy and when I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, she was able to assist me with foods that would help with controlling my glucose levels. I cannot recommend Jess more highly as a naturopath. She is approachable, knowledgeable and realistic."
